Transnational meeting in Helsinki 22nd & 23rd October 2024
Hosted by our wonderful partner, Taitotalo, we gathered in Helsinki on October 22-23 for an inspiring two-day meeting filled with big ideas and exciting discussions. Together, our powerhouse consortium tackled upcoming work packages, brainstormed innovative strategies, and planned the next steps for the U2VET project.
This time, momentum for development was gained at the Transnational Project Meeting in Finland organized by Taitotalo in October 2024. The project partners gathered in Helsinki at Taitotalo to further develop the contents of Work Packages 3 and 4, and to refine the outputs of Work Package 2. The digital model for the application phase is starting to be ready, and piloting and surveys for Ukrainian students will be carried out after the turn of the year.
We rolled up our sleeves to delve deep into our shared goals, exploring creative ways to enhance inclusion and education across our network. These sessions were not only productive but also a testament to the strength of collaboration and the shared commitment of every partner in the U2VET project.
But it wasn’t all work! Helsinki in October offered both Finnish and Ukrainian cultural experiences with culinary delights, nature, and even a trip to Suomenlinna castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, adding a refreshing balance to our enthusiastic and intensive project work. The cherry on top of our meeting? A delightful Ukrainian lunch, lovingly prepared by Taitotalo’s Ukrainian students. This cultural treat was a heartfelt reminder of the diversity and inclusion we strive to promote through our mission. The warmth and flavors of this special meal added a unique and memorable touch to our gathering.
We also took time to connect on a deeper level, sharing stories, experiences, and ideas that extended beyond the project itself. These personal exchanges continue to strengthen the bonds within our consortium and remind us why we do what we do.
